Introduction
I’m currently working as a Network Security Consultant for 2e2 (www.2e2.com), an IT managed services and solutions provider in Newbury, United Kingdom. I’m based in Manage Service Centre in Reading where 2e2's South Technology Centre based.
My main responsibilities are remote monitoring and faults diagnosis on multiple customer managed networks, event handling on Cisco Adaptive Security Appliances/Firewalls, Checkpoint Firewalls, and other security devices like Blue Coat, Finjan, and Iron Port, Remedial Engineering and Configuration Change Management on Security Devices.
Prior to 2e2 I worked with Virtusa (www.virtusa.com) as a Senior Network Engineer where I managed and contributed to the design, implementation and administration of large scale network solutions adhering to Cisco prevailing enterprise composite network module, comprising enterprise campus, enterprise edge and service provider edge with many innovative Cisco inter-networking products and technologies.
Virtusa is a global information technology (IT) services company providing IT consulting, technology and outsourcing services to the clients in US and Europe. I have based in Colombo, Sri Lanka and supported other technology centers across US, UK and Asia including clients in US and Europe.
